He dished out six assists in the 30 minutes as the Cavs defeated the top-ranked team in the Eastern Conference 90-76.
The Cavs have now won four of the their last five games.
Dellavedova told the Cleveland website he thought the Cavs were solid in defense.
“Indiana is obviously a good team and is having a great season," he said.
"To get out on them to start with gave everyone a good bit of confidence.
"We just tried to continue that.”
Since teammate Kyrie Irving suffered a bicep injury the Maryborough-raised guard has averaged 10.6 points at 53 per cent.
He is also averaging 5.9 assists and 3.4 rebounds from the past seven games.
There is just seven games left to the end of the season.
The Cavs face Orlando Magic on Wednesday.
