Kyneton police have issued an infringement notice to the driver of a car that failed to stop at a stop sign and caused a crash this morning.
Five people were transferred to Bendigo Hospital for observation after two cars collided.
"A vehicle travelling west on Beauchamp Street failed to stop at a stop sign and slowly went onto Mollison Street where it was T-boned by a car travelling north," Senior Constable Jason Azzopardi said.
"It was a minor collision and there were no life threatening injuries."
EARLIER
FIVE people are being transported to Bendigo Hospital after a crash in Kyneton this morning.
The crash involving two cars occurred at about 10am in Mollison Street.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed that four males and one female were involved in the crash.
"Injuries range from chest, choulder, facial, head and arm," the spokeswoman said.
"None of them are life threatening."
