Each year Bendigo Bank provides funds to support one of The Capital theatre's projects.
The Engine Room presents... received the funding this year.
The crew are now well equipped to tour the region with LED lights, speakers, lighting trusses, winch-ups, base plates, piano microphones and road cases.
The Capital's marketing manager Anne Henshall works with each town involved in the community arts program to promote the shows.
"[Last week] we had a small launch in each town; Elmore, Pyramid Hill and Heathcote," she said.
"We help them market and sell the shows.
"Working with community advocates in each town."
Capital manager David Lloyd said the funding that Bendigo Bank provides makes moving theatre equipment to each town a lot easier.
“Bendigo Bank is the leader in working and engaging with small communities and we are very grateful for its support that allows The Capital to do the same,” he said.
Bendigo Bank regional manager Wayne Tobin said the bank was excited to bring performing arts to regional areas.
“We believe that everyone deserves the same opportunities to experience Australia’s vibrant arts scene, whether they live in big cities or country towns,” Mr Tobin said.
“Our ongoing support of The Capital is part of a significant investment in regional arts."
