POLICE are calling for witnesses and victims following a spate of damages in the Flora Hill area.

Sergeant Rosie Rowe said two teenagers were in custody and police were expecting to make more arrests after several properties and vehicles were damaged over the last four days.
“There has been a spate of damages in the Flora Hill residential area, around Osborne Street and Deakin Drive, and in the vicinity of the university,” she said.
“There have been a large number of offences.
“A substance has been thrown over vehicles, rocks have been thrown on roofs and a baseball bat has been used to damage numerous post boxes.
“We have tracked down a number of victims but we believe there are many more.
“People go away for the weekend and may not have discovered it yet.
“We are asking people who notice their property or vehicle has been damaged in the last four or five days to come forward.
“Two teenagers are in custody and are assisting with enquiries.
“We expect to make more arrests in the next day or so.”
Anyone who suspects their property or vehicle has been damaged should contact Bendigo police on 5448 1300.
Meanwhile Bendigo Country Fire Authority attended a fire in Golden Square after a stolen 50cc motorcycle was dumped and caught alight.
Three fire trucks attended the incident about 8.45pm and were quick to extinguish the flames.
Bendigo police were notified of the incident.
