Leading Senior Constable Mark Wilkinson fielded questions from a group of Girton Grammar School students visiting the Bendigo Magistrates Court.
Leading Senior Constable Wilkinson spoke about police's role in the court room while the magistrate took a break.
"I'm here for court security today," he said.
Leading Senior Constable Wilkinson also informed students about police uniforms and equipment.
"They wanted to know what my role in court was, why my uniform was different to the police prosecutors and things like that," he said.
"It was good to engage with the youth."
