After being sent in to bat by St Helena, BSSC fell to 6-26 in the quarter-final at Mandurang's Pearce Reserve.
The Saints bowled superbly in the early overs of the Twenty20 clash to dismiss the dangerous Hamish Schumacher (3), Brayden Stepien (0), Scott Woodman (10) and captain Cody Hansen (11).
Sam Williams and Callum Tibbett were dismissed on nought before Zach Cruse and Ross Culvenor teamed for an unbeaten stand of 74.
Cruse was 44 not out and Culvenor unbeaten on 22 as the Lions reached 6-100.
The Saints had partnerships of 30, 48 and 20.
Cruse took two wickets in the final over to finish on 2-20. Culvenor, 0-10, and Woodman, 0-21, bowled well in their four overs.
