The event was organised by the Bendigo Amateur Soccer League and the Australian Futsal Association due to the sports growing popularity in the region.
It was the first time Bendigo and Ballarat had played against each other.
In total 63 Bendigo boys and girls travelled to the Ballarat Futsal Centre in Wendouree to compete against Ballarat’s best.
Seventeen teams ranging from under-10 girls to under-16 boys participated in the tournament.
Ballarat took the overall honours, winning 72-31.
However Ballarat didn’t have it all their own way, with the Bendigo Gold under-12 boys winning their division.
Bendigo father Don Thompson said the tournament was a great success.
“It was a great opportunity for Bendigo players to test themselves against some excellent competition,” he said.
