The warning was delivered to highlight fire restrictions remain in place for the City of Greater Bendigo and the shires of Mt Alexander, Central Goldfields and Macedon Ranges.
No decision has been made on when fire restrictions will be lifted.

The CFA is right in reminding people that it's illegal to burn off during a fire danger period and anyone wanting to carry out such work must apply for a permit.
Now is certainly not the time to take any chances.
Waiting until fire restrictions have been lifted and there's some 'green' around before burning off remains the safest bet for all concerned.
It's also important to start thinking about getting items such as electric blankets and heaters checked as the cooler weather isn't that far away.
