A highlight was the unaminous points victory for football star Damien Lock in a light-heavyweight contest (81kg).
About 700 fans packed in at Truscott Reserve, home of the Eaglehawk Soccer Club, in Murdock Street.
Boxing trainer and promoter Frank Pianto was rapt about the turnout and boxing bouts.
"Damien Lock's win was a really popular one," said Pianto. The contest was three rounds lasting two minutes each.
The Pianto Boxing Academy in Kangaroo Flat was well represented on the card.
The Piper brothers, Andrew and Shane fought in the light-heavyweight class and were beaten in split decisions.
"Many in the crowd were not too happy about Shane (Piper) not being declared the winner," said Pianto.
Castlemaine's Jason Chislett stepped up three divisions from 54kg to 63.5kg and fought well.
Several boxers from Pianto's squad will fight at Lilydale next weekend.
