CROWDS slowly gathered at Dai Gum San precinct in Bendigo this morning for the SPAN Suicide Prevention and Awareness Walk.

People from across Victoria and beyond will walk together to raise awareness and remember those lost to suicide.

The walk began at 11am and wound it's way through Bendigo with more than 500 people taking part.

Bendigo's first suicide prevention and awareness walk in 2012 saw more than 350 turning out. In 2013 more than 500 people attended.
