Maeve, 5, and Summer, 4, said the new slide, climbing equipment and swing was great.
The creation of play space has been a collaborative project between the Bendigo Northern District Community Enterprise, White Hills Football Netball Club, White Hills Junior Football Club, White Hills Cricket Club and the City of Greater Bendigo.
The groups celebrated their achievements with a range of free activities, including junior footy and netball clinics, on Saturday.
BNDCE treasurer Sandy Young said the new playground had been well-received.
"It's something to help families occupy the young ones during normal game days and training sessions," she said.
