MCG Cooling and Refrigeration have supplied a cool room at a discounted rate. 

Business owner Steve McGurk said it was all for a good cause and people needed to talk more about mental illness.  

"We are doing it because we think it's a good thing," he said. 

"(Suicide) is a taboo subject - people don't talk about it." 

Other businesses and organisations supporting the walk include Hume and Iser, Dewar's Music School, the Castlemaine Highland Pipe Society, and volunteers from health organisations.
