Stats based on the home and away season.

1. MATT PINNIGER (Bendigo United).

RUNS: 646

The BDCA’s equivalent of David Warner - opens the batting, is a left-hander and explosive. Averaged 58.7 with six scores over 50.

2. TRAVIS KING (Strathdale).

RUNS: 613

WICKETS: 1

CTCH/RO: 8/1

The left-handed opener topped the BDCA batting average with 61.3. Belted three centuries and two other scores above 50.

3. CAMERON TAYLOR (Strathdale)

RUNS: 419

WICKETS: 28

CTCH/RO: 5/1

Another of those typical seasons from the Suns’ coach where rarely did he fail to have an impact with either the bat or his crafty leg-spinners.

4. BEN GUNN (Bendigo United)

RUNS: 440

WICKETS: 13

CTCH/RO: 5/1

Was an up-and-down season for the Bendigo United recruit. But he did end the home and away rounds with an average of 44.0 to earn his spot.

5. BEN DEVANNY (Strathfieldsaye) (C)

RUNS: 472

Been the clear standout player this season. Won the BDCA and Addy player of the year awards and also gets the captaincy of this team.

6. BEN DEARAUGO (Strathdale)

RUNS: 494

WICKETS: 20

CTCH/RO: 3/2

Used to be a top-class bowler who was a handy batsman. Still a force with the ball, but made his mark this season more so for his batting.

7. SAM JOHNSTON (Huntly-North Epsom)

RUNS: 287

WICKETS: 28

CTCH/RO: 5/3

Runner-up in the BDCA Cricketer of the Year Award. A lion-hearted competitor whose 252 overs were the most of any player this season.

8. BRAYDEN STEPIEN (White Hills)

RUNS: 446

CATCHES: 15

STUMPINGS: 5

Only 16-years-old, but the keeper-batsman is an absolute excitement machine of the BDCA. Plays with flair and dare.

9. NICK CRAWFORD (Bendigo United)

RUNS: 227

WICKETS: 31

CTCH/RO: 3/0

There seemed to be some doubt pre-season over the veteran playing on. But 31 wickets to go with 227 runs showed he made the right call.

10. QUINTON BENTLEY (Huntly-North Epsom)

RUNS: 83

WICKETS: 34

CTCH/RO: 3/1

The first-year Huntly-North Epsom coach cleaned up the BDCA’s bowling awards, winning the aggregate and the average.

LUKE BAIRD (Golden Square)

One of the BDCA’s most under-rated bowlers, but his season with the ball has been pivotal in getting Golden Square to the grand final.
