The forum is part of the Bendigo Festival of Cultures, a week-long celebration of multiculturalism in the city.
Key speakers include associate professor Wayne Quilliam, accomplished writer Demet Divaroren and City of Greater Bendigo manager for strategy Trevor Budge.
Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Service general manager Noemi Cumming said the forum would be interesting and engaging.
She said the festival was running smoothly and there was still a chance for people to attend one of the remaining cultural events.
The forum is Saturday between midday and 3.30pm at La Trobe University Visual Arts Centre.
Other events this weekend include the Multicultural Dinner Dance on Saturday from 7pm at the Foundry Hotel and the Family Fun Day on Sunday from 10am at Sidney Myer Place.
Students from schools across the region will celebrate Harmony Day in Hargreaves Mall from 11.30am on Friday.
