It was a successful week on the court where we won two out of our three games on our west coast road trip.
All three teams, the Phoenix Suns, the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers are in the play-off race in the western conference.
We had a good win against the Suns, 110-101.
This was one of our better games and we stopped them from scoring in transition, which is one of their strengths as a team.
I defended Goran Dragic for parts of the game, the Suns' point guard who will be playing for Slovenia in the World Cup in Spain later this year.
The Boomers face Slovenia in our first game of the tournament.
The night before the game we had a team dinner.
It was a place that did some really good wood fire oven pizzas that we enjoyed eating in an outdoor area.
The team stayed in San Francisco, so I got the chance to look around there and then went out to catch up with a few of the Saint Mary’s boys and coaches.
The Gaels play in the National Invitation Tournament this week.
After being down 20-4 in the first quarter, we had a really good win over the Warriors, 103-94.
It was a great atmosphere as always in Oracle Arena.
I was really looking forward to playing here, as there were a lot of Saint Mary’s people and other friends at the game.
After watching the Warriors in the play-offs last year, it was cool to be out there playing against the same guys I was watching a year ago.
After the game it was good to catch up with Boomers' team-mate Andrew Bogut, who is having a great season for Golden State as they head towards the play-offs.
While we heard it was snowing in Cleveland, it was great weather the whole time on our west coast trip.
The players and coaches made the most of it.
After training on Saturday I got the chance to go to Santa Monica beach which was relaxing.
Our last game of the road trip was a tough one against the Clippers. We went down 102-80.
We had it down to a seven point deficit with eight minutes to go, but could not get any closer.
Unfortunately, Kyrie Irving hurt his bicep in this game. Hopefully, the injury is not too serious.
We flew back to Cleveland after the game and landed at around 6am the next morning because of the time difference and the long flight.
I went to the market to get some supplies for later in the day, grabbed some breakfast and then went to sleep.
Luckily we had the day off - so it didn’t matter that I woke up at 1.30pm.
We have a few guys out with injuries now, so hopefully we can get some guys back healthy soon.
Have a great week everyone and enjoy the footy being back.
It was a great atmosphere as always in Oracle Arena.
