The long-standing shop and café on Main Street has been serving the community for more than 100 years.
Owner Heather Mountjoy, who has been there for nine years, said it was a lovely business.
“We have lovely customers,” she said.
“It is a small town and the locals come in and we catch up with everyone.
“We have seen people who have had babies and we have watched them grow. You wouldn't have this connection in Bendigo.
“With the oldies, they tell me when they are going away so I don’t worry if I don’t see them for a few days.
“There is a lovely atmosphere. It is a really friendly shop.
“I am going to miss it.”
Ms Mountjoy said she hopes the new owners continue running the shop as a general store.
“It would be lovely for someone to carry it on.
“The shop has been in the town for a very long time and it has always been a general store.
“It was here when there were the floods which happened 100 years ago.
“It is a bit of history.”
Agent Wayne Heard said there had been good interest.
“It is definitely a really good opportunity for someone looking to take over a shop in that area," he said.
The auction will be held onsite on April 2.
