She spends at least two days a week lending a hand with Uniting Care's growing team of volunteers.
On Tuesday, Miss Stone helped flip pancakes for Uniting Care's annual fundraising event.
The money raised from the event went towards helping support locals.
Stone said it was important for community members to become volunteers.
"Everyone should do some sort of volunteering," Miss Stone said.
"People can learn a lot from volunteering."
Miss Stone said she began volunteering with Uniting Care after her mother began conducting work placement with the organisation.
"I wanted to do what she was doing," she said.
The 19-year-old said as part of her role with Uniting Care she also helps to pack food.
"I help out with anything they need me to do," she said.
Stone said she also volunteers with Scope, an organisation that aims to support people who live with a disability, as well as the Epsom Kindergarten.
"I like volunteering and helping others," she said.
