"It's fantastic for our club that Kelsey wants to stay with us for a further three years,'' Spirit coach Bernie Harrower said.
"It shows how much she loves playing for the Spirit and how much she loves Bendigo.
"To have a player of her quality want to sign with the Spirit long-term just shows how much faith she has in our program."
Griffin has been outstanding for the Spirit since she arrived from the United States 18 months ago.
The club has won two championships, with Griffin the grand final MVP for two-straight years.
"Having Kelsey on board for the next three years helps give the club stability,'' Harrower said.
"It makes my job so much easier to have a player like Kelsey staying with us."
Harrower expects to make further announcements on the re-signing of players in the next week.
