The parade started in Bright Street and proceeded along High Street.
Participants embraced this year's theme 'School Daze' with a range of creative interpretations.
There were nanas in school dresses, kids dressed as their favourite book characters and a group wearing rad 60s get-up.
Ros Elsworth, organiser of the procession, said there were 45 groups represented in the march, including school groups, emergency service personal, local sporting clubs and more.
