That was the message delivered by Hope, Assistance, Local Tradies co-founder Jeremy Forbes who will host the Save Your Bacon breakfast at Hume and Iser from 7am on Tuesday.
The Save Your Bacon breakfast is designed to raise awareness about anxiety, depression and well-being in the tradie community in the casual atmosphere of a brekkie.
Mr Forbes said support for the Save Your Bacon breakfast had been incredible and he was hopeful that goodwill would be rewarded with a great turn out of Bendigo tradies.
He said sponsors and donors would gather at Hume and Iser on Monday night to pack more than 250 HALT bags for the brekkie.
''The bag will have information about mental health networks and well-being, as well as goods donated by building supply companies,'' Mr Forbes said.
He said the HALT event was like a trade night but in breakfast form.
''We've got prizes through the morning and the first 250 people to register will get a food box from Bendigo Food Share,'' he said.
Mr Forbes said there was no expectations on tradies to talk about any issues.
"It literally is just come along and get your free egg and bacon roll and bag and then go again if they want, that's fine," he said.
Mr Forbes said tradies could register for the breakfast at www.thehaltbrekky.com or call him on 0488 596 550.
