A man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is alleged to have kicked the victim to the face after smashing her car windscreen and bonnet with a metal pole.
The court heard police arrived to the Romsey address on March 1 and found the victim crying and bloodied.
Photos showing facial injuries were tendered to the court.
Police also allege a second violent incident took place two days later, with the accused also seen jumping a back fence at the property several hours after the second incident.
The man is also accused of attempting to escape from police and resist arrest in Kyneton on March 7.
Magistrate David Faram said he considered the matters to be extremely serious and said the police case appeared strong.
Mr Faram refused bail. The man was remanded to appear at Kyneton Magistrates Court on April 4.
