The two-day titles will be contested by many of the smaller associations dotted across country Victoria.
Teams will be vying for the BV Country Junior Championships in divisions three and four at under-16 and under-18 level.
The under-20, division one title will also be up for grabs on the Bendigo Stadium showcourt.
"The support by the City of Greater Bendigo was imperative to having the event held in our city," said Craig Green, manager of sport at Bendigo Stadium.
"It will be the second of four Basketball Victoria major junior events held in Bendigo for the calendar year.
"The division one under-16 and under-18 titles were played in Bendigo last month."
There will be 60 teams from right across the state heading to the championships.
"It is not long ago that Maryborough’s Matt Dellavedova, who is now playing with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA, would have played at such an event,” said Green.
Matches will be at the Bendigo Stadium in Marong Road, West Bendigo from 9am to 9pm and at Flora Hill Stadium from 9am to 8pm on Saturday.
Play on Sunday at Bendigo Stadium is from 8am to 5pm.
Other games will be played at Maiden Gully from 9am to 11am.
Entry is free to all stadiums.
