The blaze broke out in a 30 by 40-metre packing shed filled with rubbish at about 8.40pm.
Nearby residents reported flames shooting from the shed.
Advice warnings were issued for nearby areas which are expected to removed early Monday.
A CFA spokeswoman said the cause of fire would be investigated, but police have not been told the incident was suspicious.
At least 11 CFA units responded to the scene but homes were not under threat.
