Looks like it's all running smoothly in both directions this morning.
It was a quiet night in the city last night, with no news to report from Bendigo Police or Bendigo CFA.
Earlier in the day, a Kerang woman had a lucky escape when a farmer's rake became embedded in her windshield. Full story here.
WHAT WE'RE CHASING TODAY
It's a huge weekend for our photographers and journalists.
We'll be out snapping lots of photos and chatting to people at the Harcourt Applefest, the Elmore BnS, the Bendigo Maker's Market and the Maldon Campdraft.
We're also heading out to the 2014 Volunteer Fire Brigades Victoria Urban Championships for CFA volunteers, taking place all weekend at Weerona Oval.
Lots to choose from if you're looking for something to do today!

A mom and a son come home from the grocery store. The boy immediately empties out a box of animal crackers and the mom asks him why. The boy says, "You should not eat it if the seal is broken, so I'm looking for the seal."
