Plenty of hard work and dedication has gone into organising the many events on offer around our region this long weekend.
Now it's the community's turn to reward such dedication by getting out and about to support these events.
Now it's the community's turn to reward such dedication by getting out and about to support these events.
The Bendigo Madison, Harcourt Applefest, Maldon Camp Draft, Elmore 10th anniversary B&S, 2014 Volunteer Fire Brigades Victoria Urban Championships, markets, balls, art shows - the list goes on.
Then our great Bendigo Spirit will attempt to once again disappoint visitors the Townsville Fire to defend the Women's National Basketball League crown they won so famously this time last year.
These events draw plenty of visitors to our great city.
Such an influx is great for our retail and hospitality sector and a wonderful opportunity for the city to showcase everything we have to offer.
But it's important 'locals' play their part in supporting the events also.
That will give those who have put long hours into making sure these events are successful and run smoothly plenty of encouragement.
See you out there.
