Guest speaker Doreen Akkerman AM, who was inducted into the Victorian Women's Roll of Honour in 2010, traced the stages of a woman's life in her presentation ‘We’ve come a long way baby’.
The annual event was held at the All Seasons, with money raised going towards Zonta scholarships in the region.
President Rosalie Lake said the group was very grateful for the community's support, which made the event possible.
"This is very much a community fundraiser and our first priority is to ensure we can fund our yearly scholarships for young women in business, public affairs, nursing and year 11/12 financial support," she said.
Zonta member Megan Purcell said people were excited to hear Ms Akkerman speak.
"It's good to see so many people come and support this event and we know it will benefit the community in the long run," Ms Purcell said.
