The Bendigo Football Netball League bounced back from defeat the previous week to score a 29-goal win in the open clash with Loddon Valley.
Bendigo FNL won every quarter on the way to a 57-28 victory.
The talented Lauren Cowling played a key role in Bendigo FNL's win in the season's fourth round.
After an evenly fought opening quarter, Heathcote DFNL lifted its defensive play against North Central to build a 12-goal lead by half-time.
Accurate shooting by Paige Tuohey capped off Heathcote DFNL's fine passing through mid-court and into attack.
Heathcote won 58-31.
The night's play began with the 17-and-under matches.
A goal separated North Central and Bendigo FNL at quarter-time.
North Central built a four-goal lead early in the second, but Bendigo fought back brilliantly to lead 22-18 at half-time.
Bendigo FNL's young guns went on to win a great contest, 52-42.
Echuca and District took to the court in new uniforms for the clash with Loddon Valley FNL.
The Echuca and District line-up increased its lead in every quarter.
By the final whistle, Echuca and District led 48-28.
There will be no matches played in the North Central Regional State League netball season this weekend.
