Youth Affairs Minister Ryan Smith launched The Exchange in Bendigo yesterday.
Mr Smith said The Exchange was created to provide young people with a place they could have a say.
He said youth advisory groups across the state would share their ideas on the website, which they could in turn relay to the minister.
"The Exchange has been designed to give young people access to a range of information and resources and support them to be actively involved in their local communities and with other young people from across the state," he said.
Also attending the launch were members of Bendigo's Youth Advisory Group, who conducted a test drive of the website.
Brady Price, 15, said young people wanted to be involved in issues affecting the wider community.
"We want to be heard. Schools need a bigger student voice," he said.
