Dellavedova scored eight of his 10 points in the final quarter as the Cavs went down 99-93 to the Raptors.
Dellavedova added three rebounds and two assists in his 28 minutes on court.
“I thought a lot of our guys at different points of the game played well. I thought Delly (Matthew Dellavedova) gave us a lift off the bench,'' Cleveland coach Mike Brown said.
Toronto coach Dwane Casey lauded Dellavedova for his defence.
“I’ll tell you what – he (Dellavedova) was all over us. He was a one-man press,” Casey said.
The Cavs face Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday (AEDT) before hosting the Utah Jazz on Sunday (AEDT).
