HDFNL took on the first-placed BFNL on Sunday in what was a tight and physical game.
The BFNL girls came out firing however HDFNL managed to maintain their intense pressure across all four quarters.
HDFNL's last quarter efforts was the difference between the two teams.
The Heathcote and District girls came back from a two goal deficit at the final break to go on and win by seven goals.
The final score was 46-39.
LVFNL also notched up their second win of the competition, defeating North Central by 23 goals.
Strong defensive pressure was key for LVFNL across the entire game with players Moroni, Marlow and Cannan able to work freely.
The trio created a lot of scoring opportunities for their goalers.
In the end the final score was 50-27.
In the under-17 competition, Echuca and District scored their second-straight win, defeating North Central.
Echuca and District applied full court pressure throughout the game with sharp and accurate passes into the ring.
The final score was Echuca and District 44 to North Central 31.
In the second under-17 match LVFNL took on HDFNL.
The game began with a tough opening quarter, with just three goals separating the two teams.
HDFNL then stepped it up a gear outscoring the LVFNL 15 to 11 in the third quarter.
HDFNL played patient netball.
Despite the efforts of LVFNL to get back into the match, HDFNL continued to increase their margin after every change.
The final score was 48-30.
