POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a robbery at a bakery in Ogilvie Avenue, Echuca yesterday.

Echuca police detective sergeant Brendan Murphy said a male wearing a cap, sunglasses, a dark jacket, pants and shoes entered the Moama Bakery about 11.20am.
He said the male was given an unspecified amount of money and left the scene in a small red motor vehicle.
Detective sergeant Murphy said the male was Caucasian, of a medium build and was seen loitering around the area prior to the incident.
He said the male had a backpack.
Detective sergeant Murphy said a weapon had not been produced.
