THE committee behind the Kristy Thomson Appeal has been overwhelmed by the response of the central Victorian community, but doesn't want people to stop reaching into their pockets just yet.
The fundraising efforts will culminate with a major auction at the Exchange on Friday night, and it's hoped the community will respond with gusto.
Committee spokesman Michael McKern said the ''community had responded better than we would have expected''.
