BlazeAid is a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organisation that was established following the Black Saturday bushfires.
It assists rural families and individuals to become productive again by helping clear, repair or replace fences that have been lost as a result of natural disasters.
Mayor Roger Jukes said a significant amount of the 300 properties affected by the fires had reported fencing damage.
“Repairing and replacing fences is a priority for our community and I encourage those affected to make contact with BlazeAid as soon as they are able to," he said.
People and groups wanting to donate fencing material or labour are also encouraged to contact BlazeAid.
