The retune is part of the final switchover to digital TV.
Bendigo will move over to the new frequencies on February 27, along with other areas; Castlemaine, Maldon, Kyneton, Maryborough, Dunolly, Inglewood, Daylesford, Woodend, Rochester and Echuca.
When channels change viewers will need to re-tune their digital TV, set-top box or digital TV recorder to find the channels that have moved. The moves will free up broadcasting spectrum so that it can be used for new services such as mobile broadband.
