The team had another comprehensive win in round two on Sunday.
BFNL put in a dominant performance against North Central winning 66 to 21 in the open division.
The BFNL girls put in a great team performance, with sharp passes and intense pressure on display throughout the match.
North Central is yet to secure a win.
In the other open division match, HDFNL were looking to win their second straight game of the season when they took on LVFNL.
It was a fast paced first half, with both teams turning the ball over.
However, LVFNL centre Tahnee Cannon set up many chances with her precision passing.
HDFNL fought back in the final quarter reducing the margin, but it wasn’t enough as LVFNL held on to win 44 to 41.
BFNL also had a big win in the under-17 competition, defeating LVFNL by 34 goals.
Accurate shooting by Abbey Ryan and Georgia Bolton couldn’t be stopped with BFNL increasing its lead at every change. The final score was 61 to 27.
Echuca and District also took on HDFNL in round two.
After having the bye in the opening round, Echuca and District came out with all guns blazing in the first quarter establishing an eight goal lead.
It was a fast paced game, with Echuca managing to secure plenty of intercepts and rebounds.
Echuca continued to increase its lead each quarter on the way to a 51-28 victory.
