The Beautiful Surface is a brightly coloured collection of 18 still life works by the realist painter.
Mr Taylor, who said he has been painting ever since he was a child, said he was excited about his latest exhibition.
“I held my first exhibition in 1984,” he said.
“I am looking forward to this exhibition.
"It is a beautiful venue, very prestigious.
“There are lots of people that come through there.”
Mr Taylor, who uses gouache, water colour and pencil to create his images, said he gets his inspiration from the natural world all around him.
“We can see things which just happen and look amazing,” he said.
“I like to incorporate natural things in my paintings, such as birds and flowers.
“I like to use quite bright colours.”
The exhibition opens on Monday at the Capital on View Street and runs until March 28.
