With the match getting under way at 1.55pm, there were no changes to the game's conditions, with play continuing until 7.10pm.
Golden Square had been 2-35 early in its innings after it was sent into bat, but after the initial burst from the Jets, the rest of the day was dominated by the ladder-leaders.
Captain Tim Wood (82, seven fours, two sixes), opener John Lalor (79, eight fours, one six) and Jason Johnson (58 n.o., four fours) all made half-centuries for Golden Square.
Wood and Lalor put on 131 for the third wicket, while Johnson and Grant Connelly (35) later shared in a 68-run stand for the fifth wicket.
Veteran Kristian Rogers and Justin Hargreaves both took 3-65 for the Jets.
Under BDCA rules, the four other games that didn't get a start on Saturday must be played as ordinary conditions matches next week.
