The group of 14 women will participate in the upcoming The Weekend to End Women's Cancers in Melbourne.
The event will benefit the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
Bendigo Bosom Buddies have been busy raising money ahead of the event and will Celebrate with Cocktails at the Foundry Hotel Complex this Friday at 7.30pm.
"We're looking at having about 250 people there but we can hold a few more," team member Louise McNair said.
"There are limited tickets but we are still accepting donations on the website.
"There are 14 of us in the team and we've raised about $34,000 to date but we're probably looking at close to $40,000 - we're hoping to push it to $40,000 with this event and the raffle that we have going.
Ms McNair said cancer was something close to many people's hearts.
"All of us have been touched by cancer in some way, shape or form, whether it's women's cancer or not," she said.
