A Bridgewater Bakehouse employee injured today is "fine" and will be discharged from Bendigo Health soon, a Bendigo Health spokesman said.

The woman was taken to hospital with chest pains after a truck hit a powerline in Main Street.

The oversized truck was carrying another truck and hit a powerline, which in turn flipped back and broke another powerline outside the bakery. 

The staff member was using the coffee machine at the time and received an electric shock.

She was taken to a Bendigo hospital with chest pains.

EARLIER: An ambulance has been called to a fallen powerline in Main Street in Bridgewater.
