The event will include teams from Girton Grammar, Bendigo Senior Secondary and Catholic College Bendigo in two separate debates at the Bendigo Magistrates Court.
The first debate, between Catholic College and Girton, will explore the sentiments expressed in the Australian national anthem.
The second, between another Girton team and BSSC, will question whether people smugglers provide morally justifiable services.
Solicitor Mark Walters will act as chairman and La Trobe University social sciences lecturer Dr Ardel Shamsullah will act as adjudicator.
