The new club will enter the Bendigo Junior League this season.
The club is encouraging younger players to get involved with the team.
LVU will have teams in the under-12, under-14 and under-16 competitions.
The open day will be held on February 23 at the Raywood Hotel at 1pm.
The 2014 season fixture is yet to be announced however Bish says the club will play their home games at the Raywood Recreation Reserve and the rest in Bendigo.
LVU will also hold their inaugural Annual General Meeting on the same day.
