GROOVIN the Moo fans are rushing to buy tickets to the Bendigo leg of the tour.
Reilly Johnston, 16, lined up at the Bendigo Advertiser from 7.30am to secure her place at the festival.
Tickets went on sale at the Advertiser from 8.30am.
“It’s a good line up,” she said.
“I’m buying tickets for me and my friends.
“I want to see Disclosure, Dizzee Rascal and What so Not.”
15-year-old student Lucas Hanns is excited ahead of his first Groovin the Moo.
“There’s not much around for underage shows so it’s good to have,” he said.
“Violent Soho will be good to see with The Jungle Giants.
“There’s a group of about 10 or 12 of us that are going.
“I saved money from work at Red Rooster to buy the ticket.”
Jenny Mitchell bought tickets for her Melbourne daughter and two friends.
“This is probably the third year she’s been since she’s been in Melbourne,” she said.
“They’ve been going since they were young.
“I’m not going personally, I think it’s a bit out of my demographic.”
The Bendigo leg of the tour will be held on May 3 at the Prince of Wales Showgrounds.
More than 20 bands will feature at the event.
People can call 5434 4448 or 5434 4449 and buy tickets by credit card, or attend the Advertiser offices in Queen Street.
