The 3000m duel for the Caps Cup is a major highlight on the the Bendigo and District Cycling Club's calendar.
A field of 24 contested Thursday night's final at the Tom Flood Sports Centre.
A top performer on the mountains and road, Hamilton raced off 70m in the Caps Cup final.
The teenager beat Aiden Bowe (55m), Mark Flood (45), Luke Knox (80) and Todd Schintler (30) in the Capuano family-sponsored event.
