Get in tune with new challenge

A Wedderburn mother has her fingers crossed a song written in memory of her little son will make the ARIA charts next week - there's a new challenge for the community.

John Trager believes Let Your Angel Fly could find its way to the ARIA charts with sales of 500 or more.

The Bendigo Advertiser carried the story of Melbourne musician John Trager's heartwarming tribute to little Blake Gordon-Cooke on last Saturday's front page.

The response from the community has touched parents Diane and Paull.

Blake's song Let Your Angel Fly will be released on iTunes this Saturday with proceeds supporting HeartKids.

Diane has her fingers-crossed central Victorian residents will support its release.

"Apparently, it depends on how well it does in the first week to whether it gets in the charts. If it got in the charts, the publicity for HeartKids would be amazing," she said.

So right there is the challenge.

Buying this iTunes single will honour this little boy, show tremendous support for his parents Diane and Paull, provide HeartKids with valuable financial assistance and help a Melbourne man who has done an extraordinarily kind-hearted thing gain some worthy recognition.
