THE Strathfieldsaye and Golden Square cricket clubs are putting their on-field rivalry to the side to raise money for Pink Stumps Day.
The Jets and Square will play each other in round 12 of the Bendigo District Cricket Association on February 22 - this year's nation-wide Pink Stumps Day, which raises money for the McGrath Foundation.
The two clubs are aiming to raise at least $2000 together through a major raffle and events on February 22.
Raffle tickets are available from both clubs at a cost of $2 per ticket.
Senior and junior games between the clubs will be played on February 22 at both Strathfieldsaye's Tannery Lane and Golden Square's MyJet Oval.
A BBQ breakfast will be held from 8am to 9am, followed by a lunch from noon to 1.30pm at both Tannery Lane and MyJet Oval. Both clubs will play in pink caps and use pink stumps on the day.
