This year participants can choose to complete a 28-day detox from alcohol, sugar or caffeine.
People can also choose to give up anything digital, from time spent in front of the television to the use of social media on your phone, computer or tablet.
Bendigo Spirit champion Kristi Harrower and Golden Square captain Simon Rosa are among those in central Victoria already signed up for FebFast.
The money raised will be distributed by FebFast to Youth Support and Advocacy Service (YSAS), an organisation that supports people troubled by drugs and alcohol.
YSAS mental health nurse Lee Kennedy said FebFast was an important charity to get behind.
He said YSAS was a non-profit organisation that relied on money raised from FebFast to keep their services alive.
