Nursing graduates were eager to begin their rotation process and experience hands-on learning at Bendigo Health this week.
Forty registered nurses and two enrolled nurses have begun their 12-month graduate nurse program at the hospital.
During the 12-month program each graduate will participate in three four-month rotations and will have the opportunity to attend core and department focused study days.
Graduate nurse Bronte Castle, 26, said there were many great opportunities for nurses to work in specialty fields.
"I'm really hoping to get into midwifery and I see a lot of room for further development," she said.
Bronte will begin her rotation in the medical ward.
