THOUSANDS turned out to celebrate 125 years of racing at Hanging Rock this Australia Day.
There was fun for all the family with live music, food stalls, kid's activities as well as thoroughbred racing.
Hanging Rock Harness Racing general manager Jon Dight said it was a “terrific day”.
“The crowds have been great and the weather was superb,” he said.
“We had around 5000 people here.
“The cup went to Loukoumi, trained by Rick Harrison and we have had a couple of locals win a couple of races as well.
“It really has been a terrific day.”
