A WOODEND paramedic has been recognised for shaping the future of Ambulance Victoria.
Grant Hocking will be awarded the Ambulance Service Medal in the Australia Day Honours List today.
The Ambulance Service Medal is awarded for distinguished service as a member of Ambulance Victoria and honours paramedics who have gone beyond the call of duty and made a real difference in the lives of people facing life-threatening medical emergencies.
Mr Davis said Mr Grant Hocking was recognised for his 25-year career that has helped shaped Ambulance Victoria’s clinical standards, operations and outcomes.
“This has included a major role in consolidating and integrating clinical processes during the period of the merger of the rural and metropolitan ambulance services,” he said.
