Blake was just 19 months old when medical complications took his life.
This little boy's story touched many people in the community and beyond.
Melbourne musician John Trager was so moved by Blake's story that he felt the need to honour the little boy's life in song.
So good was the musical legacy that the song Let Your Angel Fly will soon be released on iTunes with all proceeds going to help HeartKids Victoria.
Blake's family knew nothing of the legacy until the song was played at the little boy's celebration of life.
Understandably, there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd.
Let's hope this moving song becomes an iTunes hit - that would be worthy recognition for all involved.
To create something so unique and personal for a little boy he did not know in the hope that it would bring some peace for his family is such a wonderful gesture.
That this legacy will not only honour Blake but raise important funds for such a valuable organisation such as HeartKids Victoria is such a special thing.
Well done John Trager - let's hope this moving song becomes an iTunes hit - that would be worthy recognition for all involved.
